1. General Terms

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to make purchases. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

2. Products & Pricing

  • All textbooks are sold subject to availability
  • Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable
  • We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice
  • Second-hand textbook conditions are described accurately; however, minor wear consistent with used books should be expected
  • Product images are for reference and may not reflect the exact condition of second-hand items

3. Orders & Payment

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability
  • Payment must be received in full before orders are dispatched
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, EFT, Mobicred and Zapper
  • You will receive an order confirmation email once payment is processed
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders if payment fails or fraud is suspected

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the courier
  • You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information
  • We are not liable for delays caused by courier services or circumstances beyond our control

5. Returns, Exchanges & Buybacks

  • Second-hand textbooks are sold as-is with no returns, except for items that don't match the described condition
  • Exchanges are available for incorrectly described second-hand books within 7 days

  • Buyback offers are at our discretion and based on current market demand

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Textbook Hunter or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright laws.

7. Accuracy of Information

We strive to ensure all product information is accurate, but we do not warrant that descriptions, ISBNs, editions, or other content is error-free. If a product is not as described, your sole remedy is as outlined in our Returns & Exchange Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

Textbook Hunter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

We are a retailer of educational textbooks. We do not create textbook content and are not responsible for the accuracy, curriculum alignment, or educational suitability of any textbook. Please verify edition requirements with your educational institution before purchasing.
